- We regret that we are unable to accept bookings from :-
- a) Groups or persons of all one sex.
- b) Groups or persons under 21 years of age.
- A Booking is not confirmed until a deposit is paid and confirmation is sent.
- To ensure that the caravan you want will be available, please make your booking as soon As possible.
- Deposit Payment of £100.00 can be made by Cheque/Postal Order/Cash OR Credit/Debit Card/P/Pal -There is a surcharge of £3.60.
- Personal information gathered during the process of booking and payment will only be used by Sea View Holiday Homes and our Credit Card processing company to fulfil the terms of the order as detailed in these terms and conditions.
- All information will be Stored securely and will never be shared with a third party.
- Early Bird discounts have already been taken off the price in July/August. The price on the View Prices and availability page is the price with discount taken off.
- Provisional Bookings by telephone, fax or email are accepted but must be confirmed within seven days.
- When filling in Booking Request Form, please ensure to fill in all fields giving your Name and Address, Telephone Number (if you have a mobile, this number also) in case we need to contact you regarding your booking. How many Adults/Children/Pets etc Only persons named on your holiday booking form are permitted to occuply the caravan, if adding extra guests, we need to know their full name (age if under 21) either by email or letter before the holiday commences (we do not accept this by telephone call) otherwise we have the right to terminate your holiday if extra guests occupy the caravan and their names are not on holiday booking form. It is holiday guests responsibility to give the full name of extra guests before holiday commences. Let us know also if you have any special requests also.
- Once we receive your completed Booking Request, a price will be sent back to you, if you agree with price, let us know and we will reserve the booking for the next 7 days while awaiting your deposit payment of £100.00. As we also accept telephone bookings, please do not pay deposit payment until we confirm price and availability.
- A Booking is confirmed upon receipt of your provisional booking Form with your deposit included. A confirmation letter will then be sent to you. Please keep confirmation letter safe as it will need to be produced on your arrival day.
- Arrival Time is as stated on your booking form, departure time is 10am.If time is not suitable telephone 0141 644 4282 and arrrange another time please give 24 hour notice. Arrival times are from 1.30pm onwards, we will try and accommodate your preferred time although once the slots are filled you will
- be given the next available time slot anytime up to 5pm. Arrival times for last minute bookings may be after 3.30pm.
- Please Note: Arrival after 6pm up to 7pm - extra charge of £10.00. We must be notified of this prior to your holiday arrival date. Arrival time after 7pm up to 9pm will incur an additional charge of £20.00.
- We require a Deposit payment of £100.00 to secure caravan. This deposit payment is held until your departure day . On your departure day, your deposit is returned to you providing caravan is left in satifactory condition (clean and tidy)with no damage. If damage exceeds deposit amount, we will claim the principle person who hire caravan for the full amount of damage which has occurred. Deposit payment paid online within 14 days from holiday arrival date will be repaid online on your departure date(usually between 7pm-10pm) No cash will be returned.
- We do not provide Towels, Tea Towels, Matches, bed linen for cots.
- 2 Bedroom caravan sleeps 4 (if not clicked on to use sofa bed) and extra charge per person will apply to your booking. 3 bedroom caravan sleeps 6 (if not clicked on to use sofa bed) an extra charge per person will apply to your booking.
- We only hire on a Friday or Monday weekly (holiday guests can arrive on a Saturday(this must be sorted prior to your booking) but must vacate on the Friday)
- We will respond to all enquiries within 2 business working days. .

- It is recommended that you purchase some form of Holiday Insurance from your local broker to cover your personal luggage, personal money, holiday cancellation, personal and Public liability etc. This type of cover is fairly standard and not too costly.
- If you have to cancel your holiday, you must notify us in writing and send this to us by Recorded Delivery. The date of Cancellation is the day when we receive written notification which must be sent by Recorded Delivery. In the event of Cancellation, a sliding scale of charges applies as laid out below - this applies when payment is made.
- Cancel 56-42 days before holiday start date: 50%
- Cancel 41-21 days before holiday start date: 75%
- Cancel 20- day of arrival or later: 100%
- In the event of cancellation or any other circumstances, the deposit of £100.00 is non refundable.
- Therewill be a charge of £3.60 when you pay your deposit online and this charge will be added to your booking.
- Deposit payments refunded online will have a charge from p/pal. Payments can take up to 7 days to be refunded.
- Cancellation of holiday - if payment is refunded online, there will be a charge from p/pal.
- Pets are allowed in selected caravans. (see caravan details page)
- If you intend to bring a Dog, this must be notified when booking.
- Only 2 dogs are allowed Per caravan. When on Park, dogs must be kept on a lead at all times, and if they foul: their owners must clean up after them. Dogs must be supervised at all times by an adult and not left alone in the caravan. The hirer or owner of the dog staying in the caravan must pay in full for any damage the dog may cause to the caravan or its contents. Large or threatening dogs and puppies (less than six months old) will not be accepted. Dogs are allowed on the beach under supervision.
- We welcome well-trained dogs but reserve thie right to refuse certain breeds. We charge £10.00 per dog(maximum of 2 dogs per caravan). Please ensure your dog wears a collar and identity tag and is on a lead under the control of a responsible adult at all times. We reserve the right to require the owner of any dog or pet considered a nuisance, or to be affecting the comfort of guests, to remove it from the Park - no compensation will be given for early termination of holiday. We do not allow any breeds of dog listed under the Dangerouse Dogs Act 1991. At time of press, these were any dog of a type known as the Pit Bull Terrier,Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino and Fila Brasilero, plus any other type appearing to be bred for fighting.
- As we cater for asthmatics, we have caravans which are strictly No Pets under any circumstances, if you are found to have a pet in any of these caravans you will be asked to Leave without any refund, deposit will be non refundable, in addition you will be sent a bill for a full spring clean of the caravan and any additional cleaning required.
- When choosing your caravan, please be aware we have Pets welcome caravans and we will not be held responsible if anyone going into Pets welcome caravan has any allergies to Pets etc if this is the caravan you have chosen .
- We do not accept texts messages or voice mail messages on arrival day.
- Arrival time after 6pm and up to 7pm. extra charge of £10.00. This must be arranged prior to holiday.
- All bookings are accepted on the basis that the hirer and their party accept the park rules and current booking conditions whether they have read them or not. Haven reserve the right to terminate a holiday without compensation, where the unreasonable behaviour of the persons named on the booking form or their guests might impair the enjoyment Of other guests.
- Only names on booking form are allowed to stay in caravan, holiday cannot be transferred over to other person(s). No other person(s) can take over booking if guest(s) have to leave early.
- Any problems must be made immediately to us during your stay so that we can resolve any problems immediately to ensure continued enjoyment of your holiday. Please telephone the numbers on confirmation letter 078 354 70796/075 114 81725/07799492308/0141 644 4282. Complaints/problems cannot be dealt with on departure day or after the holiday has taken place and will be rejected.
- We are not held responsible for any defects found in the Holiday Home, any defects will be reported to the owner who will deal with this as quickly as possiblle. Occasionally call outs need to be dealt with by engineer or plumber etc who will attend to this as soon as they can, this is out with our control. We are not held responsible for any maintainence or defects in owners caravans, this is the owners responsibility.
- Once any defect is reported the matter will be dealt with as soon as possible.
- We are not held responsible for any of the Caravans which do not belong to ourselves. We accept bookings for Caravan Owners only and we are not responsible for any defects/cleanliness etc of caravan.
- £99 Deals/Special offers are for 2 Adults and 2 Children only. Term per family means 4 people extra charges will apply for extra guests.Holiday Offers and Late Deals are for a maximum of 4 guests (adults or children). Extra charges will apply.
- Bookings are not confirmed until we receive deposit payment, we cannot hold any caravan unless we receive email/telephone call asking for the caravan to be reserved while awaiting deposit payment. If we do not receive notification from you, caravan could be booked by someone else
- Only the people listed on the booking form can occupy the caravan and use the facilities on the park (funworks passes will be required to use swimming pool, entertainment, bars etc, these can be purchased from reception). If this legal requirement is not met your booking will be Terminated and you will be asked to leave without any refund to you.
- Bookings cannot be transferred over to someone else. Only the names on the booking form can occupy the caravan.
- Damage and breakages caused to caravan or equipment must be paid for by the hirer. Deposit will not be returned on departure if damage has been caused and we are awaiting replacement cost.
- If damage is caused to the caravan and we (or owner) has to go through Insurance, deposit payment will be withheld pending outcome. If damage is in excess of deposit or is we lose rentals due to damage we will have the right to pursue the hirer for full payment.
- We hire weekly starting on a Friday or Monday unless the caravan page states Saturday bookings considered. If you wish to start your holiday on a day other than Friday or Monday telephone 0141 644 4282
- The hirer of the caravan must be age 21 or older and must be present during the occupancy of the caravan.
- Funworks passes are non refundable under any circumstances.
- Maximum occupancy of caravan - 2 Bedroom - 4 guests unless we have authorised the sofa bed can be used. 3 Bedroom 6 - unless we have authorised the sofa bed can be used. Not all caravans have sofa beds, please check when making booking request. Maximum allowed is 8 guests, if we have approved used of sofa bed and this must be authorised by us first.
- Bed linen must be used at all times, if not ordered with your booking - your own bed linen must be shown to rep. on arrival day. We provide duvets and pillows. Bed linen can be hired - Double £6.00 (inc. double sheet, duvet cover, 2 pillow cases) Single £4.00 (inc. single sheet, duvet cover, pillow case). Extra double sheet £3.00. Extra single sheet £2.00. Beds are also made up for your arrival if bed linen has been ordered
- in advance. Bookings made within 72 hours of arrival, beds will not be made up.
- The caravan must be left clean and tidy on departure.
- The caravans are all Private owned and do not belong to the holiday park. Please look after and respect the use Of it and treat it as your own.
- Lost Property. If you leave property in the caravan after leaving, whilst we will endeavour to do everything within our remit to return the item, we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage. £10.00 charge for return of any goods, plus postage and packing.
- As we clean our own caravans and check them prior to your arrival if any problem is found please report this immediately to us on 078 354 70796 / 075 114 81725/077 994 92308 or 0141 644 4282 on the same day your checked in to the Holiday Home, a member of staff will call at the caravan ,view the complaint and we can sort this promptly so you can enjoy your holiday. If we feel we have to terminate your stay, we will deduct daily money from your booking (we will divided daily amount on booking form). Complaints regarding cleaning of caravan cannot be dealt with on departure day or after the holiday has taken place and will be rejected.
- Travel Cots/High Chairs/Bed guards, if they have been hired from ourselves and need replaced for whatever reason, we can only replace the item concerned on check in days (Monday or Friday). We will not be able to transfer item(s) outwith these days, alternatively these items can be hired (charge will apply) from Craig Tara Shop (adjacent to Reception). We will refund any money (only) paid for item(s).
- We also hire caravans for owners who clean their own caravans, under these circumstances any complaints regarding any aspect of the caravan etc and any defects found is between yourself and the owner. You must deal direct with the owners (details will be given to you). We will not be held responsible in any way for any defects, problems, cleanliness etc. This is between the owner, cleaning company and yourself.
- Items listed on the description eg: dvd, cd, free view box, portable TV. These items may break down/or not work and need to be repaired, in this instance, we may not be able to replace item (during your stay) until it has been repaired . No compensation will be given.
- Caravans for hire at Marton Mere are dealt with by the owners themselves. Any problems must be dealt with direct with the owners themselves.
- Prices quoted are for the number of bedrooms (2 bedroom) 4 guests (3 bedroom) 6 guests, extra charge per guest applies.
- £99 deals and any special offers/deals/discounts are for maximum of 4 persons whether adult or child (regardless of caravan size). Extra charges apply. Per family is 4 people maximum.
- If the price has not been listed, prices quoted exclude any peak dates (Bank Holidays,School Holidays, September weekend,and any time where there is an event being held at the same time). Once we receive booking request, a price will be sent back to you. If you wish to proceed, let us know and we will reserve the caravan for you. If in doubt regarding price or availability, telephone 0141 644 4282.
- Funworks passes are optional, if required they can be ordered with your booking, please make sure you choose the correct dates either Peak or Non Peak, as the correct price will be included in the Confirmation letter. If Haven have a price increase or decrease in pass price this will automatically be adjusted in the Confirmation letter. Internet bookings take it to the nearest £.
- We are not responsible for any inconvenience caused by any remedial work necessay in Craig Tara Holiday Park.
- If the caravan if found to be dirty on departure day, no deposit will be returned and we Reserve the right to charge a cleaning fee of £40.00 payable on demand.
- All our caravans are Non Smoking and anyone caught smoking inside the caravan will Terminate their holiday without any refund and will be billed for a deep clean of the Caravan.
- Please smoke outside and discard with care.
- The area surrounding the caravan Must be kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Due to unforeseen circumstances arising and we cannot give you the caravan you have chosen, we have the right to give you another caravan of the same grade. No refund will be made under these circumstances.
- If a situation arises (due to any unforeseen circumstances) and we have to transfer you to another caravan, we will try and give you the same grade, if this is not possible we will find grade nearer to the grade booked. No refund will be made for this.
- In the event of cancellation or any other circumstances, the deposit of £100.00 is non refundable.
- If you wish to change dates or any booking details on the form once the booking has been confirmed there will be a charge(fee of £20.00 administration charge will apply).
- If leaving early, deposit payment will be refunded by cheque or pay pal/online.
- Money is being transferred to your bank account. Allow up to seven days for this to happen
- We/Craig Tara Holiday Park have the right to terminate the occupancy of the caravan where the Park conditions are not being complied with, or noise, nuisance, annoyance etc is being caused to others. No refund will be made in such circumstances. No deposit will be returned under these circumstances.
- All electrical and domestic goods, including boiler, must be switched off upon leaving the Caravan.
- Light bulbs in caravans can blow at any given time like any light bulb at home, light bulbs will be replaced on the first opportunity we are on Park.
- Under no circumstances are you permitted to leave unattended gas or electric Heaters when vacating the caravan. This also applies to the Gas fire overnight whilst Sleeping.
- No furnishings, cushions, stools etc to be taken outside the caravan.
- Litter and refuse must be disposed of in the designated areas provided by the park.
- Clothes are to be dried on the airer provided; at no time are they to be dried over heaters.
- Clothes lines are not be erected. Please remove any dirty footwear when entering the caravan
- If we have to cancel your booking for whatever reason, any money paid (deposit) will be refunded to you, under these circumstances no compensation will be paid for this. If the owner cancels the holiday booking, we will pay back any money paid by yourself (deposit). The matter will be between yourself and the owner regarding any dispute arising from this. We are not held responsible if this occurs.
- Discounts are given to returning guests only on caravan prices over £179.00 (caravan price only - without any add-ons)please ensure discount is given on booking form as this cannot be changed on your arrival day.
- We the owners will not be liable for any injury or death, loss of property, damage suffered by the hirer or any member of your party. Please arrange insurance cover prior to your holiday.
- Guests can provide their own bed linen, not sleeping bags, which must be used or you can hire bed linen from us for an extra charge.
- You will be required to confirm that you have read and understood these terms and conditions when making your booking and payment online.
- Cancellation of holiday, Deposit payment is non refundable although under certain circumstances (proof in the form of a doctors certificate or court notificataion for jury service which must be sent to us recorded delivery and received before your holiday date commences) you can transfer to another holiday taken on the same year (Fee of £20.00 administration charge will apply). We do not accept cancellation by telephone. Our decision is final regarding this matter.
- Should the situation arise that you wish to change your holiday booking date or any other amendment to your booking form or to add extra members an administration charge of £25.00 will be required.
- We the owners reserve the right to cancel your confirmed booking at anytime, due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control and refund all monies paid, in no event Shall any monies refunded exceed the money already paid by guest.
- Parents are asked to see that children do not cause damage and will be responsible for any damage caused by their children. Parents and other persons standing in their place are also Responsible for supervising the safety of their children at all times (e.g. by preventing Climbing etc).
- Noise of all kinds (including music and singing) must always be kept at reasonable levels.
- Parents are respectively asked to consider the adverse effect on neighbours from noise created by children running up and down inside.
- Funworks Passes are required to use Park facilities - swimming pool, show bars etc. Moderate extra charges apply to certain activities, please check at Reception or telephone Craig Tara Holiday Park direct. The owners are not responsible for Provision, change or withdrawal of entertainment or facilities at the Park. As we do not own the caravan site, we do not take any responsibility for any of the facilities or any alterations/changes of the facilities listed. During off peak season, facilities are scaled down. If a Funworks pass is lost or stolen it must be purchased anew from the Park reception at the guests expense. Craig Tara Holiday Park is a Haven Park and they are responsible for the facilities, park and entertainment. Booking a caravan is not a Package holiday. To use facilities Funworks passes are required. Price quoted is for the hire of caravan/holiday home only.
- Some facilities will be available only at limited times or in high season.
- If the caravan is not vacated by the departure time of 10am, we reserve the right to make An extra charge, particularly when cleaning staff are delayed as a result.
- No one may interfere with the fire fighting equipment except to use it in case of fire.
- Dvds, freeview boxes/videos are provided must may not play certain discs, free view boxes may freeze at certain times (try switching off at mains and wait 1 minutes before switching back on). These are outwith out control and we may not be able to change them over if they are not working or have been damaged or part missing. Play station games are not permitted to be played on the main TV in lounge, several caravans have spare TVs in bedroom which can be used for this purpose. If main TV in lounge breaks down, spare TV in bedroom will be substituted.
- We Reserve the right to refuse entry or expel anyone who is behaving badly with no refund to you.
- We reserve the right to enter the caravan at any time for whatever reason although we Will do our best to avoid any unnecessary interruption to your holiday.
- We have the right to cancel your holiday and return your deposit payment to you at any given time, no compensation will be repaid. We have the right to offer an alternative caravan if the caravan booked by youself becomes unavailable.
- Fun works passes are optional and can be added to your booking. We have the right to take Fun works passes off the booking and deduct price from your booking should the situation arise.
- You are welcome to have guests visit, but guests are not allowed to park their cars over-night, by doing so we would have the right to charge for extra person(s) in the caravan.
- We reserve the right to change our details from those on our website or printed brochure At any time and we also reserve the right to refuse bookings where we have made a Mistake in our advertised details/price or in our booking forms.
- We regret no refund if you wish to terminate your holiday early.
- Sometimes the wrong price has been advertised by mistake always wait until we confirm the price before booking any caravan. Under these circumstances, we have the right to charge the correct price. We only hire weekly starting on a Friday or Monday, booking requests received from a Saturday weekly must vacate on the Friday and booking requests received from a Tuesday weekly must vacate on a Monday.
- If we have given the wrong price at any time we have the right to rectify this as soon as it becomes known to us.
- If anything is particularly important to you, then please check when booking your holiday.
- Confirmation letters will be sent to you with details of booking, please check all details carefully,if any details are wrong or you wish to change or amend, please notify us immediately.
- If holiday guest does not turn up on arrival day for arrival time stated or before 9pm on the same day we will take it as the booking has been cancelled, under these circumstances no deposit is returnable.
- We the owners decision is final.
- If the caravan is left in an untidy and dirty condition at the end of your stay, no deposit will be returned. Guests agree to take care of the caravan, which they are hiring and wll leave the caravan in a clean and tidy condition at the end of their holiday, no dishes to be left on the draining board, grill pan to be cleaned after use etc.To prove the caravan is left in an unsatisfactory condition, photographs will be taken before the caravan is cleaned and used as evidence.
- Caravans listed at Marton Mere Blackpool are cleaned and maintained by the owners themselves. Any problems must be dealt with direct with owners.
- Electrical circuits:
- The caravan has a 16amp electrical supply & the installation allows for Diversity in that not all appliances are likely to be used at the same time. The electric heaters within the units are limited to 400w (1.6amps) each, therefore you may need to limit the amount of heaters used if you are cooking and using kitchen appliances simultaneously
- Please note that it is a condition of booking that you agree not to plug in additional heaters
- As this is recognised as an electrical safety issue. You may be charged for reconnection if the overload trips due to unauthorised use of additional heaters.
- No warranties, promises and/or representations of any kind, express or implied are given as to the accuracy or completeness of any of the material or information contained on this website or as to the nature, standard, suitability or otherwise of any services offered by us or on our behalf and/or of any accommodation or services featured on this site. We will not be liable for any loss, damage, or other sum or claim of any nature (direct, indirect, consequential or other) which arises, directly or indirectly, in connection with this website including, for the avoidance of any doubt, and not by way of limitation, any use of any information or material contained in this website or any inability to access or use this website. These exclusions of liability apply only to the extent permitted by law.

We are so confident that we have the best prices for caravan hire, that in the unlikely event that you find the same caravan and features available on the day you make your booking (like for like) at a lower price from any other caravan holiday company, we will try and match the price. All you need to do is provide proof of the price you have been quoted by giving us the telephone number and the details of the web site where the price can be confirmed and the caravan and location and price can be viewed (not calalogue photographs) these details can also be sent by email to us. The price quoted must be available on the day that you make your booking. Once we look into the details given, we will try and match the price or better beat it. - Please enjoy your holiday.
