Terms & Conditions

  • We regret that we are unable to accept bookings from :-
    • a) Groups or persons of all one sex.
    •  b) Groups under 21 years of age.
  • A Booking is not confirmed until a deposit is paid and confirmation is sent.
  • To ensure that the caravan you want will be available, please make your booking as soon As possible.
  •  Payment can be made by Credit/Debit Card, Cheque, Postal Order or cash.
  • Personal information gathered during the process of booking and payment will only be used by Sea View Holiday Homes and our Credit Card processing company to fulfil the terms of the order as detailed in these terms and conditions. 
  • All information will be Stored securely and will never be shared with a third party.

 

  • Provisional Bookings by telephone, fax or email are accepted but must be confirmed within seven days. 
  • A Booking is confirmed upon receipt of your provisional booking Form with your deposit included.  A confirmation letter will then be sent to you.
  • Arrival Time is as stated on your booking for, departure time is 10am.
  • We will respond to all enquiries within 2 business working days.

  • It is recommended that you purchase some form of Holiday Insurance from your local broker to cover your personal luggage, personal money, holiday cancellation, personal and Public liability etc.  This type of cover is fairly standard and not too costly.
  • If you have to cancel your holiday, you must notify us in writing.  The date of Cancellation is the day when we receive written notification.  In the event of  Cancellation, a sliding scale of charges applies as laid out below. 
    • Cancel 56-42 days before holiday start date:  50%
    • Cancel 41-21 days before holiday start date:  75%
    • Cancel 20- day of arrival or later:  100%

 

  • Pets are allowed in selected caravans.  (see caravan details page)
  • If you intend to bring a Dog, this must be notified when booking. 
  • Only 2 dogs are allowed Per caravan.  When on Park, dogs must be kept on a lead at all times, and if they foul: their owners must clean up after them.  Dogs must be supervised at all times by an adult and not left alone in the caravan.  The hirer or owner of the dog staying in the caravan must pay in full for any damage the dog may cause to the caravan or its contents.  Large or threatening dogs and puppies (less than six months old) will not be accepted.  Dogs are allowed on the beach under supervision.
  • As we cater for asthmatics, we have caravans which are strictly No Pets under any circumstances, if you are found to have a pet in any of these caravans you will be asked toLeave without any refund, deposit will be non refundable, in addition you will be sent a bill for a full spring clean of the caravan and any additional cleaning required.

 

  • All bookings are accepted on the basis that the hirer and their party accept the park rules and current booking conditions whether they have read them or not.  Haven reserve the right to terminate a holiday without compensation, where the unreasonable behaviour of the persons named on the booking form or their guests might impair the enjoyment Of other guests. 
  • Only the people listed on the booking form can occupy the caravan and use the facilities on the park.  If this legal requirement is not met your booking will be Terminated and you will be asked to leave without any refund to you.
  • Damage and breakages caused to caravan or equipment must be paid for by the hirer. 
  • The hirer of the caravan must be age 21 or older and must be present during the occupancy of the caravan.  
  • The caravan must be left clean and tidy on departure.
  • The caravans are all Private owned and do not belong to the holiday park.  Please look after and respect the use Of it and treat it as your own. 
  • If the caravan if found to be dirty on departure day, then we Reserve the right to charge a cleaning fee of £40.00 payable on demand.
  • All our caravans are Non Smoking and anyone caught smoking inside the caravan will Terminate their holiday without any refund and will be billed for a deep clean of the Caravan. 
  • Please smoke outside and discard with care.
  • The area surrounding the caravan Must be kept clean and tidy at all times.

 

  • In the event of cancellation or any other circumstances, the deposit is non refundable but May be used for an alternative date - a fee or £10.00 administration charge will apply..
  • All electrical and domestic goods, including boiler, must be switched off upon leaving the Caravan. 
  • Under no circumstances are you permitted to leave unattended gas or electric Heaters when vacating the caravan.  This also applies to the Gas fire overnight whilst Sleeping.  
  • No furnishings, cushions, stools etc to be taken outside the caravan.
  • Litter and refuse must be disposed of in the designated areas provided by the park.
  • Clothes are to be dried on the airer provided; at no time are they to be dried over heaters.
  • Clothes lines are not be erected.
  • Please remove any dirty footwear when entering the caravan.

 

  • We the owners will not be liable for any injury or death, loss of property, damage suffered by the hirer or any member of your party.
  • Guests can provide their own bed linen, which must be used or you can hire bed linen from us for an extra charge.
  • You will be required to confirm that you have read and understood these terms and conditions when making your booking and payment online.
  • Should the situation arise that you wish to change your holiday booking date or any other amendment or to add extra members an administration charge of £15.00 will be required.
  • We the owners reserve the right to cancel your confirmed booking at anytime, due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control and refund all monies paid, in no event Shall any monies refunded exceed the rental for the caravan.

 

  • Parents are asked to see that children do not cause damage and will be responsible for any damage caused by their children.  Parents and other persons standing in their place are also Responsible for supervising the safety of their children at all times (e.g. by preventing
    Climbing). 
  • Noise of all kinds (including music and singing) must always be kept at reasonable levels. 
  • Parents are respectively asked to consider the adverse effect on neighbours from noise created by children running up and down inside.
  • Funworks Passes are required to use Park facilities - swimming pool, show bars etc.  The owners are not responsible for Provision, change or withdrawal of entertainment or facilities at the Park.  If a Funworks pass is lost or stolen it must be purchased anew from the Park receiption at the guests expense.
  • Some facilities will be available only at limited times or in high season.
  • If the caravan is not vacated by the departure time of 10am, we reserve the right to make An extra charge, particularly when cleaning staff are delayed as a result.
  • No one may interfere with the fire fighting equipment except to use it in case of fire. 
  • We Reserve the right to refuse entry or expel anyone who is behaving badly with no refund to you. 
  • We reserve the right to enter the caravan at any time for whatever reason although we Will do our best to avoid any unnecessary interruption to your holiday.
  • You are welcome to have guests visit, but guests are not allowed to park their cars over-night, by doing so we would have the right to charge for extra person(s) in the caravan.
  • We reserve the right to change our details from those on our website or printed brochure At any time and we also reserve the right to refuse bookings where we have made a Mistake in our advertised details or in our booking forms. 
  • If anything is particularly important to you, then please check when booking your holiday.
  • We the owners decision is final.
  • If the caravan is left in an untidy and dirty condition at the end of your stay, no deposit will be returned. Guests agree to take care of the caravan, which they are hiring and wll leave the caravan in a clean and tidy condition at the end of their holiday, no dishes to be left on the draining board, grill pan to be cleaned after use etc.To prove the caravan is left in an unsatisfactory condition, photographs will be taken before the caravan is cleaned and used as evidence.

 

  • Electrical circuits:
    • The caravan has a 16amp electrical supply & the installation allows for Diversity in that not all appliances are likely to be used at the same time.  The electric heaters within the units are limited to 400w (1.6amps) each, therefore you may need to limit the amount of heaters used if you are cooking and using kitchen appliances simultaneously
    • Please note that it is a condition of booking that you agree not to plug in additional heaters
    • As this is recognised as an electrical safety issue.  You may be charged for reconnection if the overload trips due to unauthorised use of additional heaters.
